Greenfoot’s Fall 2026 SICA Construction Review feature introduces Adam Robinson and the whole-home approach behind our growth in British Columbia.

Greenfoot Energy Solutions is featured in the Fall 2026 edition of SICA Construction Review, with our story appearing on page 20 alongside Greenfoot Energy Advisor Adam Robinson.

The feature, titled “Growing Their Footprint from Coast to Coast,” looks at Greenfoot’s growth and our expanding presence in British Columbia.

For a company that started in Atlantic Canada and has grown into a team serving homeowners across both sides of the country, seeing that story featured by the Southern Interior Construction Association means a lot.

    Growing Greenfoot in British Columbia

Greenfoot has spent years building a different kind of home energy company.

Instead of focusing on one product or one trade, our approach looks at the whole home.

Heating and cooling. Solar. Insulation. Ventilation. Water heating. Backup power. Energy efficiency.

Each part of a home affects the others, so the best solution often comes from understanding the full picture first.

That same approach now supports homeowners across British Columbia, with Greenfoot teams serving communities throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Okanagan and the Thompson Valley.

    Our current B.C. locations include:

Those teams provide homeowners with access to heat pumps, air conditioning, solar energy systems, insulation and other home energy upgrades through one company.

The SICA feature includes Greenfoot Energy Advisor Adam Robinson, whose work covers both residential and multi-unit buildings.

Adam works across heating and cooling, insulation, ventilation, solar, energy-saving appliances and whole-home energy planning.

His background gives him a wider view of how homes use energy.

A heat pump recommendation, for example, should not exist separately from insulation, air leakage, ventilation or the way the home is built.

That whole-home thinking is a big part of the Greenfoot approach.

You can also read Adam’s articles on the Greenfoot website, including his breakdown of common heat pump misconceptions.

Why the SICA Feature Matters to Us

SICA represents the construction industry throughout Southern Interior British Columbia and works with contractors, builders, suppliers and other industry professionals across the region.

Its Construction Review magazine highlights projects, companies and people helping shape the construction community.

Being featured as Greenfoot continues to grow in B.C. gives us an opportunity to share where we came from and where we are heading.

Our growth has never been about putting another pin on a map.

Every new location needs local people who understand the homes, weather and energy needs of the communities they serve.

A home in Kelowna faces different conditions than a home in Halifax.

Kamloops has different heating and cooling demands than St. John’s.

    Victoria is different again.

The services might share the same name, but the recommendation should always fit the home and the region.

From Atlantic Canada to the Southern Interior

Greenfoot’s roots are in Atlantic Canada, where the company built its reputation around home energy efficiency and practical advice for homeowners.

As Greenfoot expanded west, that same model came with us.

Today, our B.C. teams help homeowners with everything from heat pumps and air conditioning to solar, insulation, ventilation and backup power.

In the Southern Interior, that means designing around hot, dry summers, cold winters and large seasonal temperature swings.

In coastal B.C., moisture, milder winters and different building styles change the conversation.

The goal stays the same: understand the house first, then recommend the upgrade.

A Big Thank You to SICA

Thank you to the Southern Interior Construction Association and the team behind SICA Construction Review for taking the time to share the Greenfoot story.

We are proud to be part of the Southern Interior construction community and proud to have Adam represent the Greenfoot team in the Fall 2026 issue.

You can view the original Greenfoot feature shared on LinkedIn and visit the SICA Construction Review publication page to explore the magazine.

Building the Next Part of the Greenfoot Story

Greenfoot has grown, but the idea behind the company has stayed simple.

Give homeowners clear advice. Look at the whole home. Install the right solution. Stand behind the work.

That approach started in Atlantic Canada and now supports homeowners across British Columbia.
