NEW BRUNSWICK

Step 1: Obtain your free in-home estimate from Greenfoot Energy on potential efficiency retrofit upgrades. Our Energy Efficiency Consultants will make recommendations on what your home needs to become more energy efficient and provide you with a free estimate. They will also help guide you through available programs. Click here to request your free in-home estimate from Greenfoot Energy.

Step 2: Apply for the NB POWER for the Total Home Energy Savings Program and get your EnerGuide energy assessment by clicking here.

Apply for the Canada Greener Homes Grant online by clicking here.

Step 3: Once the EnerGuide assessment is completed, you can proceed with the proposed upgrades with Greenfoot Energy Solutions.

Step 4: Once the work is completed, you will need to contact the Service Organisation who performed your EnerGuide energy assessment to schedule your post assessment.At this stage they will verify the work and apply for provincial incentives on your behalf.You will then need to apply for federal incentives through the Canada Greener Homes Grant program portal.
You will need to apply for the Canada Greener Homes Grant by logging in to your account and uploading supporting documents. (I.E. Receipts for work done).

Step 5: You are now living the Greenfoot Lifestyle with a more comfortable & energy efficient home.

NOVA SCOTIA

Step 1: Contact Greenfoot Energy Solutions and schedule an appointment to have one of our Energy Efficiency Consultants provide you with a free estimate. Our team will guide you through the available Federal and Provincial grants. Click here to request your free in-home estimate from Greenfoot Energy.

Step 2: Immediately enroll in Efficiency Nova Scotia’s “Home Energy Assessment Program”, as wait times are long. Click here to enroll.

Nova Scotia, the Canada Greener Homes Grant will be co-delivered with Efficiency Nova Scotia’s Home Energy Assessment program. This means anyone who enrolls in the Home Energy Assessment (HEA) program will automatically be registered for the federal grant.

Step 3: After you receive the Home Energy Assessment, you may review the recommendations for your home retrofits and decide which retrofits work best for your budget and renovation plans.

Step 4: Contact Greenfoot Energy Solutions to install the energy retrofits.

Step 5: Once you have completed your home retrofits, you can start the reimbursement process. To be reimbursed, you need to book your post-retrofit evaluation and submit all your required documents online or by mail.

Once your evaluation is complete, a new EnerGuide label and a post-evaluation report will show you how much more energy-efficient your home has become.

Step 6: You are now living the Greenfoot Lifestyle with a more comfortable & energy efficient home.

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

Step 1: Obtain your free in-home estimate from Greenfoot Energy on potential efficiency retrofit upgrades. Step 2: Apply for the Efficiency PEI grant Program and get your EnerGuide energy assessment by clicking here.  *The energy advisor will assist you in applying for the Canada Greener Homes Program.

Step 3: Once the EnerGuide assessment is completed, you can proceed with the proposed upgrades with Greenfoot Energy Solutions.

IMPORTANT: Please be aware that to be eligible to participate in this program, the homeowner must register and book a “pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation”. This evaluation is required before you undertake your retrofits and must be performed by an NRCan registered energy advisor. Please click here for more info.
