We’re now the company’s delivery partner for its mini-split heat pump rental program, which gives customers a whole new level of choice when making their homes more energy efficient.

The clever offering by Saint John Energy has proven incredibly popular with its customers, and no wonder – it gives them an affordable, hassle-free way to bring the advantages of a heat pump into their homes.

As of Aug. 1, our teams at Greenfoot became the official installers and maintenance crews for Saint John Energy for heat pump rentals – both existing and new customers – and we couldn’t be more pleased. 

Renting through Saint John Energy is a great, maintenance-free option – we now handle all service on the rental units at no additional cost to the customer. And new rental customers can still qualify for energy efficiency rebates offered by the New Brunswick government.

Heat pumps offer home comfort year-round: warmth in winter, and cool air conditioning in summer. And the ones offered by Saint John Energy are about three times as efficient as electric baseboards!

We’ve offered heat pumps for years as part of our one-stop shopping approach for customers’ energy efficiency needs. Now having this rental option available is another advantage for homeowners.

We couldn’t be more delighted or humbled to be chosen by Saint John Energy to provide this service. We know they didn’t have to pick us. I asked Ingrid Harris, Manager of Consumer Products for Saint John Energy, why we were chosen.
